The Surf Life Saving Australia website www.beachsafe.org.au provides safety-related information and advice about Australia’s 12,000 beautiful beaches.

A website upgrade for 12,000 beaches.
The website needed to provide real time information about sea conditions, tides, winds and general weather forecasts for Australia’s beaches. As it had such a wide audience of users it needed to remain easy and intuitive, as well as being accessible to iOS and Android platforms.

A website with useful and user-friendly features.
The BeachSafe website was originally created by the Nano Solutions team about 5 years prior so it was an obvious choice to have Nano provide a revamped update with useful real-time data feeds using the latest technology.
The specialised integration of relevant data from a selection of providers sourced real time information about sea conditions, tides, winds and general weather forecasts. A handy search panel helps find locations and gives the possibility to select amenities and facilities.

Nano integrated the website’s content with:
- The Bureau of Meteorology
- SurfCOM API
- Water and weather conditions
- Swell, tide, marine data feed
It also includes private API and management console.
Nano also created dedicated apps for both iOS and Android platforms. These provide people on the go with the same level of information as the main website. The apps are simple to navigate, useful and easy on the eye.
